Macro Mode Pics

I think that this picture is the strongest one that I took. I think the angle that I took it at plus with having the macro mode on my camera really was able to capture the texture, the shape, and the size, and definitely the color of the cookies and the baking sheet they were on. I like that you can really get up close and personal in this picture, which is why, I think, that I like macro mode so much. Because it really captures all of the object's sides.

2 Artist Photos

I think that I emulated the artist David Bailey quite well in this photo. I have the same type of jacket, my hand was placed in close proximity to where the model's' hand is in the photo plus they are both black and white. My photo also has a white background, as does Bailey's. The only thing that I could have probably have fixed was that Bailey's picture has a blue-ish tint to it and mine is strictly black-and-white. Other than that I think I did quite well.

-This picture is the one I feel that I did the best on. I think that it mimicks the picture below that Ansel Adams took. It has the same scenery, with the snow and the trees being in the middle. I know using the rule of 3rd's is common but for these I think that placing them in the center enhanced the picture, made it look good even though it is the focus and it would catch your attention anyway, putting in the middle made it better.

Digital Photo Montage #2

What I did in this photo is that I took the water as the background. Then I took all different types of sea animals, some I really like, some that are predators in the Ocean. I love seahorses, fishies, sea urchins, and dolphins. Then I added the rainbow fish from the Rainbow Fish book some "Plush Sea Animals" [the shark, killer whale, and dolphin] and added those in. I put Nemo in there as well if you look closely towards the left-hand side towards the bottom. The reason that I chose to do something with water is because I am a Pisces and I love water. I love fishing and swimming and going out on boats. And I know it may sound weird but I always wanted to be a mermaid when I was little. Lol...but it is important to me to recognize something that is a part of me.

Digital Photo Montage #1

The Fourth of July is something that is very important to me. Not just because of the celebration and the friends and the good times & memories.
It is because of America's past. It's for the Red of our American Flag, our heroes bled for it. Faced steel and lead for it, slept with the dead for it. This is the courage of Red.
Then it's for the White of the American Flag. We citizens watch for it, people fight for it, we cling so tight to it, this is the purity of White.
Here's to the Blue of it. We've lost more than a few for it. Our nation grew with it, Courage got us through it. We love the view of it, let us not forget the hue of it, the justice of the Blue.
What I did was I took the American Flag [for our heroes] as the background, then added the two fireworks [how proud we are to be part of America] to it. I put the American flag cake/pie [show our celebrations of it] in it (in the corner) and then put the two popsicles in it [for the kids].

My Camera:

10 Things I learned:
-My camera has 15x zoom
-It has a smart capture feature
-It has sensor-shift to stabilize the image, and find faces
-It has a action setting to capture moving objects for a picture
-It has a powerful, high ISO (6400 ISO)
-It has HD footage at 720p and 30 fps
-It has 49MB's internal

3 Questions:
-How do I use Panoramic View correctly?
-What does the Mountain Icon mean?
-What does the Flower Icon mean?
